Pregnancy Counseling
Have you just found out that you are pregnant? Our understanding and non-judgemental staff is available to help explore options and resources, and to offer support throughout your pregnancy. Pregnancy counseling is free and completely confidential.
If you feel adoption is the best for your child, Catholic Social Services has pre-approved families who are hoping to build their family through adoption. You can choose the family you feel is best for your child. You also choose the level of openness in your adoption.

- Your counselor will talk to you about your options. You will have the opportunity to consider whether parenting is for you, gather information on parenting, and strive to prepare yourself to be the best parent possible. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the process of making an adoption plan and how this can benefit you and your child.
- Your counselor is willing to meet with you at the office or travel to a place that feels comfortable to you.
- Your counselor will be with you throughout your pregnancy, at the child's birth and after the child is born, as long as you need our services.
- Your worker will not be judgemental of you and your decision.
- We will refer you to community resources to help meet your needs during your pregnancy and after your baby is born.
- All of your information will be kept confidential.
- Your counselor can meet with the birth father if this is something you do not feel comfortable doing.
- Pregnancy Counseling is free whether you decide to parent your child or make an adoption plan for your child.
