Catholic Social Services (CSS) was founded in 1972. In 1975 CSS was incorporated as a 501(C)(3) agency. The agency mission is to provide professional Social Services to people of all socio-economic, ethnic, and religious affiliations in western South Dakota.

We offer mental health counseling, youth prevention services, educational programs, birth parent and adoption services, and put special emphasis on reaching out to the economically disadvantaged populations in our region.

We also offer Lakota Circles of Hope at 10 elementary schools on Pine Ridge and Rosebud Reservations.
